Meet Mike

Michael V. Trickey, RFC

I am a 20- year veteran and retiree of the US Regular Army. Active duty brought me to Marquette. My family liked it here so much that we decided to make this our permanent home. It has been since February 1994. I turned down an assignment  to Orlando Florida to retire here in 1997.

Now serving as a professional investment advisor and insurance agent for the last 21 years since military retirement, first  with The Prudential Insurance Company of America as a multi lines agent for four years beginning in March 1998, and then as a fee-based financial planner thereafter until January 2007; a Financial Consultant with the Citizens Bank branches across the Upper Peninsula from 2007-2010, then with ING Financial Partners from 2010 to 2014, then with Voya Financial Advisors, Inc., and now, where I serve today in the “Old Savings Bank” building here in Marquette, MI with Cetera Advisor Networks LLC as an Investment Adviser Representative.

I am an active member of the American Legion Post 44, Voiture 599 of the 40 and 8 of Marquette County, member of BPOE Lodge 405,  and DAV Chapter 22. I have been  a member of American Mensa since 1986.

I am married to my loving wife Mary Beth, and our extended family includes 5 children and 7 grandchildren. We are of Christian faith. My hobbies include reading and writing, jogging, golf and bowling.
